Speed, the expensive, sprawling, incredibly good-looking saga by Brad Armstrong, has the distinction of being porn’s first biker crime film, but even with its 11 explicit sex scenes, superb acting, a who’s who of some of adult’s hottest talent, professional action and racing sequences and extraordinary production values, it’s also a relationship movie of epic proportions. With all that’s packed into this three-disc set, it’s one of Wicked’sbest releases ever, one that should sell for years to come.

Out of prison after doing four years for her crime boss boyfriend (Derrick Pierce), Jessica Drake gets a rude awakening after walking in on Pierce having freshly fucked Alexis Texas and Briana Blair. Ending the relationship and revisiting her old biker territory, she embarks on a new life of sexual freedom while building a new love story with Barrett Blade.

A criminal underworld within the motorcycle community is being investigated by a sleazy cop (Randy Spears in a non-sex role), and that provides the backdrop for the exploration of racing, sex and violent revenge as the gangs gear up for a nasty showdown. Along the way, the racing sequences are exhilarating—all impressively executed by the performers themselves, unaided by stunt doubles—and the immersion into the biker culture rings true.

Meanwhile, the sex scenes are well performed and plentiful with many highlights. Overall, this marks a high point in Brad Armstrong’s illustrious career, a really hot big-budget porn movie that somehow, magically, is a great action film as well.
