LOS ANGELES—Nyomi Banxxx is heading to the eighth annual Pocono Mountains Film Festival to support the mainstream indie film Caught in the Game. Banxxx acts in the film, and it was produced by her company, That's Common Productions. The festival takes places Oct. 28-31 at the Pocono Manor in Tannersville, Pa.
Caught in the Game has won numerous awards at other film festivals, and Banxxx is hoping this festival will be no different.
“I am very serious about making indie films and am pleased to be a part of this event—it’s one of the best film festivals out there,” Banxxx said. “You won’t find me under Nyomi Banxxx, though. I use my real name, Amanda Dee.”
In addition to her indie filmmaking endeavors, Nyomi Banxxx has her own her record label (FBC Records), designs her clothing line (A.K.I.S.S.) and has an upcoming solo calendar for 2011. Before the end of 2010, she will have been featured in 10 adult films, including Wicked’s Speed, Zero Tolerance’s Official Friday Parody and Alexander DeVoe’s Dynamic Booty 5.
