Ravishingly gorgeous, Vivid lass Tawny Roberts plays herself in this somber/sweet love story ... and turns in a terrific performance doing so. There's a moment toward the beginning when, gazing into the eyes of co-lead Eric Masterson (who, interestingly, sticks to delivering lines - as opposed to cumshots - here), you absolutely believe she's falling in love with him, right there, right then.
To back up, though, Masterson plays a shy, lonely 20-something who meets Roberts when he and obnoxious roommate Evan Stone incidentally wind up sharing a cab with her and Holly Hollywood one night on the town. A fan of Roberts' work, Masterson can hardly process it when they wind up back at his and Stone's apartment, and she suggests that they watch one of her movies together. Turns out she's lonely, too, and before you know it, they're getting married ... with chaotic results. A great little couples movie whose stars deserve pre-noms for Best Actress - Video and Best Non-Sex Performance, respectively.
