“I believe in pornography.”
With an opening salvo like that, The Godfather: A DreamZone Parody just can’t go wrong. Admittedly, we were a little worried about someone tackling an adult version of such a classic film, especially since the original relied so heavily on dudes. But from the get-go it was apparent Lee Roy Myers was going to take a light-hearted approach to the story, staying faithful to the look and dialogue while bringing in fresh female blood to shift the focus from violence to sex.
Myers and Peter O’Tool (as Vito Whoreleone) deliver an extremely funny opening scene, before Whoreleone asks where his sons are. Well, that’s easy: Sonny (Michael Vegas) is off fucking some chick (Bridgette B.) for all she’s worth, while Michael (Tommy Pistol) entertains Kay (Kagney Linn Karter) in the garden, mimicking the wedding reception conversation from the original film.
Jessie Andrews is Jenny Fontaine, who approaches her Godfather because she knows her pussy won’t stay tight forever, and she has a producer (Pulz, played by Mr. Pete) who doesn’t want to cast her in a porn because her blowjobs are subpar. Whoreleone agrees to make him an offer he can’t refuse, so it’s not long before the producer wakes up to find a whore’s head in his bed, which leads to Andrews sucking him down until he’s rock hard and then getting him to cum on her face and in her mouth.
Myers zeroes in on some classic lines from the movie that are ripe for parody and uses them to segue into sex scenes (“Luca Balsi sleeps with the bitches” is immediately followed by Anthony Rosano and Veruca James fucking).
And after taking care of Slutzo (April O’Neil) with a dildo and his cock, Michael hides out for 69 days, but returns to Kay and promises that he will always be inside her … and proceeds to prove it by shoving his tongue, fingers and cock into her pussy repeatedly before shooting in her mouth.
Even without the hot sex scenes, this is a great movie parody that takes viewers along for a fun ride, while acknowledging that those watching are in on the joke. The tongue-in-cheek approach doesn’t always pay off. But everything in this movie delivers: the acting, the comic dialogue, the sex—even the music and the cinematography. As far as porn parodies go, Myers and the cast have hit the nail on the head and delivered as close to perfection as possible.
