CANOGA PARK, Calif.—To ring in the new year and a new era, Wicked Pictures and director Axel Braun—who was appointed as head of production for the studio after its acquisition last month by Gamma Films—kick 2021 into gear with the release of Axel Braun's Going in Raw, the first Wicked production in 17 years, and the first ever under Braun's direction, to go free of condoms.
Starring Paige Owens (pictured), Brooklyn Gray, Emma Hix and Evelyn Claire, Axel Braun's Going in Raw began rolling out on Wicked.com January 1. The first two scenes, with Owens and Gray, are available to stream now, with Hix's scene dropping on January 22 and Claire's on January 29.
"Dropping the condons was a logical move that will level the playing field," said Braun, who took a nine-month hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic after shooting Stilettos, which received an AVN Editor's Choice review and scored Braun a 2021 AVN Awards nomination for Best Directing - Non-Narrative Production. Going in Raw marks the first non-condom project for Braun since his chart-topping release Riley Goes Gonzo in 2013 (which he produced under his own Axel Braun Productions banner).
