Farrah Abraham Slaps Viacom With $5 Mil Suit, Says Fired for Porn

HOLLYWOOD—Reality star Farrah Abraham filed suit against MTV parent company Viacom in a Texas federal court claiming she was discriminatorily fired from the show Teen Mom OG due to her work in the adult industry. She is seeking at least $5 million, Variety reports.

As first broken Wednesday morning by TheBlast.com, Abraham's suit alleges that Viacom "wrongfully terminated her employment because she did not conform to gender stereotypes." It goes on to charge that around October of last year, Teen Mom OG executive producer Morgan J. Freeman confronted her at her Texas home and "harassed, humiliated, discriminated against, disrespected, ridiculed, degraded and sex shamed Ms. Abraham for her recent decision to pursue opportunities in the adult entertainment industry."

Abraham further states in the suit, filed by attorney Avonte Campinha-Bacote, that she "feared for her life" during the confrontation, and that her subsequent temination violated federal and Texas law. The damages for which she is suing including emotional pain, emotional suffering, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, gender discrimination, a hostile work environment and unpaid money she says was guaranteed in her contract.

Abraham's adult work has included the Vivid Celeb releases Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom (2013) and Farrah 2: Backdoor and More (2014), as well as a headline-grabbing webcam show last fall on CamSoda.
