“You volunteered to measure inseams for band uniforms,” is just one of the many pithy observations offered up by the Gaydar Gun, a decidedly unscientific means of determining the sexual preferences of any given stranger. Resembling the a radar gun, the device features a digital read-out as well as a “Homometer” that measures “gay-ness” on a rainbow scale of 0 to 100 percent.  The open packaging allows curious consumers to try it out, which is a definite plus. Politically incorrect yet irresistibly amusing to all but those lacking even a hint of humor, the Gaydar Gun is a great gag gift that doesn’t take itself too seriously. After all, as noted on the packaging, it “Works on Pets Too!” So much for “Don’t ask, don’t tell.” Woof!
