In 2017, Nina Skye made the leap into porn. "I had always thought about it, but after I stated teaching at a preschool I realizd that I need more pay and a funner job doing something that I might really like. After my friend made one adult film, it intrigued me to finally get started."

Within a few months, Skye no longer had to worry about her day job, because the religious preschool where she taught found out about her second career and gave the young woman a choice: quit porn or quit her preschool job. So Skye opted to stay in adult—and once her story aired on a local TV station, the story went viral, even reaching overseas courtesy of a post in the UK's Daily Mail.
