LOS ANGELES—Barely-off-the-bus porn starlet Nina Skye, who informed AVN during a forthcoming Fresh Faces interview that she taught at a preschool, recently learned a hard life lesson of her own: Schools don't take kindly to their teachers sidelining it in porn.
Especially preschools.
And even more especially Christian preschools.
As reported Monday by L.A.'s Fox 11 news, Skye was fired from her teaching job due to her refusal to give up shooting porn. When the firing actually took place is unclear, but Skye tweeted the following June 13:
Given the long, rich history of schools firing any teacher who's been discovered to have ever taken her (or his) clothes off on camera, this may register with many as the most unsurprising news thus far of 2017. However, it does have one rather out-of-the-ordinary twist: According to Skye, the preschool offered to raise her salary and give her housing assistance if she would just swear off porn forever. But she refused.
"They were just really trying to pull me away from staying in the industry, they just really wanted me out," Skye told Fox 11, "but I don't really want out of the industry."
Nevertheless, she still apparently harbors hopes of returning to teaching at some point. Said reporter Ed Laskos at the close of the segment, "Nina is confident that she will teach again, admitting probably not in a religious or private school because of their morality contracts, Nina thinking it will probably be in a public school where she might be hired again in the classroom, but Nina tells us for now she is very happy, she is enjoying her life, not in front of a class anymore, instead in front of the cameras of the porn industry; she's traveling and having a good time."
