WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—It was January in August as the 2025 AVN Awards Premiere Party took over Beaches Tropicana nightclub, in the heart of West Hollywood’s Boystown on Thursday night. (photo galleries)
The event celebrated the debut screening of the broadcast edition of the 2025 AVN Awards Show. Fans and industry members waited excitedly in a line that wound around the corner, before entering the flashy venue that has also hosted musical celebrities including Katy Perry, Lil Nas, Lizzo and Kesha.
Blake Blossom was on the party scene and anxious to watch the show, as co-host of the 2025 ceremony along with 2024 Favorite Cam Girl Alex Knight from MyFreeCams.
“I’m excited to just see everything because I was backstage, so, I just want to see everybody else and like, what they were wearing. Because I kind of got to see people who won and came up on stage, but I didn’t get to see it from an audience point of view. I was tucked behind stage, peeking back through, behind the scenes,” Blossom said.
The starlet also credited AVN Awards executive producer Gary Miller for giving the glamorous production its polished, professional look.
“Gary is spot-on, every show. Every show. Gary knows exactly what he’s doing—And you know, I didn’t have to write any of my own jokes,” she quipped.
The balmy weather made for a casual summer vibe, as adult actors and actresses strutted the red carpet, dressed for the heat.
2024 AVN Best Leading Actress Kira Noir wore a skintight pink lingerie look that hugged her toned-up curves. Noir told AVN that she’s spent the summer “just grinding and working out.”
“It sounds kind of boring, but I’ve just been trying to lift heavy, eat a lot, grow a lot more,” Noir said.
Melody Marks arrived in a flowy floral frock, and was waiting for bestie Lexi Lore to show up, as well as other ladies on the Spiegler Girls roster.
“I know I’ll be dancing when she gets here,” Marks said. “I am here to have fun tonight with my girlies—and maybe some men, if they’re nice.”
Watching Noir take a turn for the cameras, Marks confessed that she almost wore the same dress. “I swear on my life, but it looked like a nightgown on me,” she laughed, adding, “I love her so much. She’s such an anime fan. We need to be best friends!”
2025 Best Trans Acting Performance winner Ariel Demure was perfectly styled, coiffed and cool as a cucumber, despite the humidity. She was looking forward to watching the replay of herself and fellow performers in the trans categories receiving their awards.
“Yeah, so we got 11 trans women AVN trophies—and Foxxy, her first AVN in a hot damn minute,” Demure said, shouting out the pioneering trans performer. “Rightfully earned, Miss TS Foxxy!”
Demure said she’s had a busy summer, with a couple of big projects in the works. Reese Rideout, also in attendance last night, just happened to recently work with Demure in two productions.
Posing for snaps in a body-hugging yellow boilersuit that showed off his tan, Rideout said his summer has been very busy. He’d just returned from a week-long CasaMaxxx content house shoot with 30 other models in Arizona. In January, Rideout was at both GayVN and the AVN Awards, where he did interviews and even co-hosted AVN’s “O” Awards (for the adult novelty industry).
“The Oscars of the Adult Industry—it really is—it’s fun to kind of be onstage and take part in it. It really is. I mean it makes you feel so good and appreciated—and like you’re a part of something bigger than yourself,” Rideout described.
Most of the packed crowd remained downstairs, where fans mixed and mingled with performers and industry pros and danced to thumping disco grooves, while go-go dancers dominated on raised platforms. Drinks flowed and some nibbled on soft tacos. In the club’s upstairs area, on a big screen above the bar, the playback of the Awards ran without interruption, as 2025 winners and nominees at the party relived their spotlight moments.
2025 Best New Starlet Gal Ritchie stood near her agent, Mark Spiegler, who was seated with a gaggle of starlets, including Marks and Jennifer White, who has recently led a couple of big summer releases.
“So, this is such an exciting event, doing a premiere party,” U.K. native Ritchie said. “The AVN Premiere Party is such a lovely idea. Spiegs told me that you used to have it, so, fun that you’re implementing it again, to celebrate re-watching. I think it’s such a great idea before nominations season starts again.”
Without question, many in the crowd were probably already plotting what they’ll wear to the 2026 AVN Awards, to be held on January 24, in The Theater at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
Ava Amira, who will attend her first AVN Expo and Awards in 2026, said that if she ever got nominated for an AVN Award, she thought she would probably pass out.
“I’m brand new. I pray to God every day. I go to all the events. I’m like, ‘Let’s go! I’m ready!’ I’m fucking ready,” Amira laughed. “I will definitely be there and I’m so excited to be a part of it. Even if it’s as an audience number.”
The broadcast cut of the 2025 AVN Awards features two live performances by multi-platinum recording artist Jason Derulo, as winners were revealed in more than 120 categories across every major sector of adult entertainment. The two-hour show also includes exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the annual AVN Awards Nominations Party, as well as the 2025 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo.
