LAS VEGAS—Call it true love.
Anna Claire Clouds reveals it was no coincidence that she wore a white wedding dress to the 42nd annual AVN Awards Show.
“Married to the game—that was my whole goal—I’m getting married to the game tonight,” she said.
The native of Nashville, Tenn., made it official in more ways than one on Saturday, January 25, winning the 2025 AVN Female Performer of the Year award along with three other trophies on a glorious night of honors.
Clouds accepted the adult industry’s top individual performing award in front of a crowd of 3500-plus at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
“I’m so proud right now,” Anna told AVN when she stepped off the stage. “I believe in this industry so much and the only thing I can try to do is represent it in the best way I can.
“I felt like I had every single person who worked with me and helped get me to this point cheering me on.
“And it was just surreal looking at everyone who worked to get me here. It was incredible. I was just looking out at my family.”
Clouds also won Best Anal Sex Scene for her performance with Zac Wild in Massive Asses 13 for Elegant Angel; and a pair of awards for her sensational star showcase Anna Claire Clouds: Dark Side for Jules Jordan Video—Best Gangbang Scene and Best Solo Tease Performance.
The 2022 AVN Awards Trophy Girl pointed to the influence of her agents Mark Spiegler and George Jiries from the renowned Spiegler Girls agency as a key factor in her evening of triumphs.
“They really believed in me more than I ever believed in myself,” Clouds said.
Indeed, the stakes could not have been higher as the AVN Awards Show made its anticipated return to the same venue it called home for nearly a decade. The pandemic forced all-digital shows in 2021-22—followed by two at a different Las Vegas property—and in ’21 the former Hard Rock Hotel & Casino was rebranded as Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
Leaving nothing to chance for 2025, AVN summoned superstar entertainers Blake Blossom and Alex Knight, aka OnlineGirl_, to co-host the ceremony presented by MyFreeCams along with comedian Steph Tolev and multi-platinum recording artist, Jason Derulo.
The dynamic singer and dancer electrified the crowd with his platinum hit “Talk Dirty” and then closed the program with an energetic performance of “Swalla” before reviving an AVN tradition during “Wiggle” when he invited dozens of girls to join him onstage.
An international media contingent once again converged on the event, lining the three-hour red carpet that created a parade of stars through the casino.
Once inside the three-level Theater—the iconic concert spot formerly known as The Joint—over 20 awards presentations commenced with the help of the Official Trophy Girls Molly Little and Stella Luxx.
Some of the night’s big winners included Vince Karter, who won Male Performer of the Year; Brittney Kade, who claimed Trans Performer of the Year; Casey Calvert, who captured her first Best Leading Actress award for her performance in Birth (Adult Time); Chad Alva, who grabbed his first Best Leading Actor trophy for his role in Alive (Dorcel); and Ariel Demure, who received Best Trans Acting Performance for “Gorgons & Goddesses” (Ten15Group).
Digital Playground’s Gold Diggers received the Grand Reel award for the best narrative movie, while the movie’s versatile shot-caller Ricky Greenwood received Outstanding Directing—Individual Work and Best Directing Portfolio—Varied Range; Vixen Media Group’s American MILF (MILFY) earned the Mark Stone Award for Outstanding Comedy and the trophy for Best MILF Movie or Collected Release.
The Best Star Showcase went to Fuck Angela, which starred the three-time AVN Female Performer of the Year Angela White, who also executive produced the instant classic through her studio AGW Entertainment with distribution by Girlfriends Films.
Meanwhile, the top honor for a new female performer—one of the show’s most coveted awards—went to British heartbreaker Gal Ritchie.
The former software engineer recruiter and professional dominatrix authored a breakout year in 2024, working for every major studio in the industry en route to 80-something scene credits and the AVN Best New Starlet title.
Ritchie looked ravishing in a sheer embellished, emerald green dress as she humbly accepted the gold statuette.
“The fact that I used to sit in my bedroom and watch these incredible women on stage and my name was just called—it’s fucking wild,” Ritchie told AVN backstage.
“It’s insane because at heart, I’m a porn fan. I was a porn fan before I ever joined the industry.”
Hailing from a village of only two-thousand people near Brighton, England, the August 2024 Twistys Treat recounted how she was raised by her single mother who has always fully supported her career choice.
“She was absolutely just so believing in me and embraced my slightly deviant sexual nature,” Ritchie said in the winners circle. “She’d take me to burlesque shows. I never even thought I would move to LA, let alone come to Vegas.”
Holding back tears, Ritchie added, “Even sitting in the crowd last year was surreal to me. So this is an unbelievable jump-off, I can’t even believe it, to be honest.”
Her agent Mark Spiegler can.
Speaking to AVN on Sunday evening from his home in LA, Spiegler recalled how Gal contacted him before and then after the pandemic, expressing how interested she was in coming to America to enter the major leagues of porn.
“She’s always been into the sex-worker stuff, she used to read about it all the time,” Spiegler told AVN. “It’s kind of what she always wanted to do.”
They devised a game-plan early on and Ritchie executed it.
“We try not to just book scenes, we try to guide a career, especially if you get a brand new girl like that with potential,” Spiegler said.
French super-stud Vince Karter cruised into Vegas with a whopping 265 credits in 2024 and an industry-leading 19 individual nominations. He left with the most prestigious individual award for a male performer and additional trophies for Best Tag-Team Sex Scene and Best Gangbang Scene.
“It’s really the highest honor to get it for me,” Karter said. “I worked so hard since many years to make my dream come true and to finally become an American and after two years here to be the Male Performer of the Year, I would never believe it if I didn’t dream it.”
Karter continued, “To show the sex I like in the way I do—and it is still something people recognize and appreciate—I’m very grateful of that. I shoot a lot and you never know if people still like this. To have this is a big achievement for me.
“I arrive first time in America January in 2023. And two years after I’m here, it’s amazing. I cannot believe Male Performer of the Year. It’s not here in my mind yet. Maybe I will awake.”
Born and raised in Paris, Karter moved to Budapest in 2018, earning a reputation as one of the best performers in Europe. It was while he was living in the Hungarian capital that he learned from the legendary Rocco Siffredi, who also is based there.
“He shoot me a lot and definitely to follow him in this way, I’m very fortunate,” added Karter, a former real estate project manager who broke into adult 13 years ago but didn’t go full time until he got to Budapest.
Brittney Kade, who rose to the occasion in 40-something scenes during the eligibility period, told AVN it was “such a huge surprise” to hear her name called as the Trans Performer of the Year.
“I definitely wasn’t expecting this. It was truly an amazing honor and I was low-key speechless,” Kade said backstage. “It feels amazing. It feels like a full circle moment. It feels like I crossed the finish line and I made the touchdown and I just don’t even know what’s next. This is such a huge milestone in my career.”
Now in her fourth year in adult, the former manager at a fast food restaurant acknowledged how far she’s come and noted that this win probably marks the finest moment of her career.
“This is something I’ve always wanted and tried to strive for, so to have it in my hands right now is an unbelievable moment,” Kade continued, adding that her dark grey pants suit trimmed with silver sequins was a fashion statement.
“I mean business—and I’m ready to be taken seriously. I feel like my suit and this trophy are the best combo to really present that.”
Kade said she is working on some new sex toys in 2025 and wants to “continue to inspire other trans performers.”
One of the adult industry’s most versatile talents, Casey Calvert, won the Best Leading Actress award for her outstanding performance in the psychological thriller Birth for Adult Time—from writer/director Bree Mills.
A native of Gainesville, Fla., who now is in her 13th year in adult, Calvert has emerged as a rare five-tool industry player who can write, produce, direct, act and perform all at elite levels.
In Birth—which was the first major feature that Mills has written and directed since 2019—Calvert and multiple Best Actor winner Seth Gamble play married couple Laura and Matthew, who decide to seek help from fertility specialist Doctor Bill (Daniel Shar).
Laura finally becomes pregnant but her journey to motherhood is fraught with terrible morning sickness and disturbing dreams as her life begins to unravel.
In a touching moment, Calvert thanked her late mother on stage.
“She would be fucking horrified that I was pregnant in a porn,” Casey said. “I love you so much, Mom, rest in peace… Thank you AVN, thank you so much!”
Backstage, Calvert recounted when she first heard about the project from Mills.
“Bree called me up and said I want you to play a pregnant female, so I said, ‘Fuck yes, let’s do it, can the prosthetic be heavy?’ She was like, ‘Fuck yeah, let’s go,’” Casey said. “It was incredibly physical. It took two hours to put the prosthetic on every day. It took an hour-and-a-half to take the prosthetic off.
“I couldn’t really eat while I was wearing it because it was like being pregnant. It pressed on my stomach. I had to pee a million times.
“I puked in this movie, I peed in this movie, I cried in this movie, I had a lot of sex in this movie…”
Wearing a sleek black pants suit with gold sparkles, she told AVN all her experience behind the camera now makes her a better actress.
“It’s made me so much more camera aware,” Calvert said. “Directing has taught me so much about what looks good on camera, what doesn’t look good on camera, how to open up, how to emote, kind of everything.”
Her stage name was inspired by her college professor, Clay Calvert, whom she keeps in touch with to this day.
“And he’s going to be very excited,” Casey said. “If he hasn’t texted me already I will be getting a text message from him soon. He’s a really good dude.”
Veteran performer Chad Alva captured the Best Leading Actor award for his career-defining performance in Alive, the erotic musical from Dorcel that was directed by Ricky Greenwood.
Alva, who toured the country with his heavy metal band before beginning his porn career 16 years ago, plays a former country music star who returns to the stage to try to save his bar in the terrific movie that also showcased the real-life musical talents of Victoria Voxxx and Queenie Sateen.
The native of Minneapolis, Minn., said he had a feeling that Alive could turn into something special before they began principal photography.
“And the fact that Ricky is a big music fan himself there’s something a little deeper there than the average surface level music fan,” Alva told AVN in the winners circle. “He saw something a little deeper and he knows how serious me and Victoria Voxxx are about music—and Queenie Sateen. And I think there was something almost spiritual, something deeper there that you can’t really put into words beyond that.
“I think there’s some magic in that.”
And perhaps no one was more happy for Alva than Greenwood.
“Chad Alva almost make me cry,” Greenwood told AVN. “That was better than having the award, seeing him on stage. Because he’s so good and when I talked to him…He’s in the business for 16 years, he thought that people forget about him, nobody want to use him anymore and I give him the lead and he give everything and now he’s on stage.
“Some people give up on the idea of winning.”
Alva told AVN the only other thing he’s done for a living in his adult life involved music.
“I was a touring musician playing in a heavy metal band, but touring full time—nine months out of the year. That was all we did, it was a lifestyle,” continued Alva, who played bass guitar. “That was my original core instrument, but now I do a little bit of everything.
“The band I was touring with the most was called Dead to Fall and that was based out of Chicago. It was a fun time. I’m glad I did that instead of going to college, to be honest. It was the best time ever.”
But even at the height of Alva’s touring days, he always wanted to do porn.
“By the time I was a teen, I was talking to people about it in my school,” Chad said. “People are always like, what do you want to do when you grow up? I always said I’m going to move to LA and get into porn.
“People always thought I was full of shit, but I was dead serious. I saw something more in it. I said no, I really feel connected to this. I really want to make this happen and do this. Then, I just did.”
Ariel Demure made an impassioned speech, accepting the Best Trans Acting Performance for “Gordons & Goddesses” for Ten15Group—a project she scripted, co-directed and for which she created all the costumes.
“I imagined everyone was in their underwear and then I got hard, which is why I started crying because that’s my MO,” joked Demure, who channeled “Medusa’s daughter” in a black dress adorned with a feather on her left shoulder.
“I never had like a theater background or anything. I never thought that acting was my direction. I never thought that I’d feel comfortable showing myself in that very vulnerable way.”
Demure continued, “I’m a whore at heart, I’m a prostitute and that’s how I feel most comfortable. And now a porn star. But for people to keep saying over and over again that my acting is not only not bad but it’s pretty dang good, it’s weird. So I just want to get better.”
She said one of biggest challenges of “Gordons & Goddesses” was “honestly, making the fucking costumes.”
“I sewed about a football field’s length of silk chiffon, so I could clothe every single one of the girls,” Ariel revealed.
Now in her fifth year in adult, Demure remembered her roots.
“I’m from South Florida, which I have bittersweet feelings about,” she said. “I’m grateful that I came from there because I learned how to drive in my father’s work van with no rearview mirror. And he said if you can drive this way then you’ll be able to drive any car.
“And that’s how I feel about Florida. If you can make it there, fuck New York, fuck Los Angeles, you can do it anywhere.”
Second-year performer Angel Windell won two AVN Awards—Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene for her performance with Chris Diamond in “Nine” for Deeper and Best VR Group Sex Scene for “Goth Girls: Tea Party” for SLR Originals.
The Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene category received more than 700 pre-nominations—so just to make the final list as a top-10 scene of the year is a feat in itself.
Windell fought back tears as she stood in the winners circle.
“I feel like this is not real,” Angel told AVN. “I was preparing to cheer for other people. I really didn’t think because I’m so new and because we’re against the biggest stars that it would be me, so that’s awesome. I just was so surprised.”
A native of Tri-Cities, Wash., Windell said she’s been doing sex work for nine years and made the move into porn in April 2023.
“I went through a really tough time and had a suicide attempt about six months ago but an organization, Pineapple Support, reached out and helped me get back to a healthy mindset and I’ve been the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life,” Windell said.
“So just being able to have a second chance at life and feeling like the universe and God is just rewarding me for being here, I’m just really grateful. It’s absolutely amazing.”
Brazzers contract star Ryan Reid took the stage to accept the Best Blowbang Scene award for her first blowbang—with Victor Ray, Sly Diggler, Scotty P, Nick Strokes & Hollywood Cash—that was titled “Blowbang in the Cage!”.
Backstage, the excitable Pittsburgh native told AVN she performed that scene for ZZ not long after a break-up.
“I remember that a stupid boy broke my heart and then they said, ‘Hey, can you suck five dudes off?’ And I was like, ‘I’m actually really sad right now but yeah, let’s do it,’” Ryan said. “And then I walked out that day not giving a fuck about that dude and my heart was full again. That’s the greatest thing I remember from that scene.”
She said the secret to a good blowbang is “having a good crew and having amazing male talent and just going in knowing—just be a hole.”
“Be a throat, just be a whore, and have fun,” Reid added.
Speaking of Brazzers exclusives, Cherie DeVille, wearing a striking black-and-gold, Valkyrie-inspired sheer dress, captured her record fifth MILF Performer of the Year award. The former professional swing dancer and physical therapist also won in 2023, 2021, 2019 and 2018.
“Oh my god, I was just having a full conversation with Anikka Albrite because I did not think I was going to win this,” DeVille said on stage. “Thank you everybody who has fucked me. You guys are the real winners, I’m just an old lady lucky to not break her hip while I was going up on stage.
“I love you, thank you OC Modeling, thank you Brian Scott Gross, my pr agent. You are the real fucking heroes.”
When DeVille went behind the curtain she jumped into an embrace with AVN backstage interviewer and fellow star, Kenna James.
“I’m kind of low-key obsessed with Kenna,” DeVille admitted, adding that she didn’t know how many MILF awards she’d won. “It’s a few, I should’ve kept track, but it’s such an honor.
“I feel like the MILF category is packed with superstars that do like the best work—the most unbelievable work—and I have so much respect for all of those ladies.”
Emma Starseed, a native Texan who first went live on MyFreeCams in January 2018, won the hotly contested Fan-Voted AVN Award for Favorite Cam Girl.
The former music PR executive—a two-time winner of the Miss MFC contest and the September 2023 AVN CAMStar—presides over one of the most creative cam rooms on the internet with her annual “Camp Emma.”
The “monthlong summer camp for adults” features Starseed sharing imaginative content in beautiful locations with high-quality merch and more.
Starseed expressed gratitude for her cam room and her MFC community.
“It’s surreal that I’m standing here in this moment,” Emma said backstage. “I’ve been trying to collect myself because I didn’t want to cry up there.
“I feel like first of all winning this award is just a win for the girls who are truly themselves. It’s such an amazing opportunity to be yourself and make money just being us, cultivating that community and that brand doing what we love to do.
“And I think this is just a win for everybody who wants to be unapologetically themselves.”
Starseed, who lives and works on a hobby farm and cares for several animals, told AVN there are countless talented women in the cam community.
“There’s so many models who work their asses off and pour their heart into what they do,” Emma continued. “I’m honored to represent MFC and all of the women on that nominees list this awards season because every single one of them deserves it just as much as me.”
Ricky Greenwood returned to the AVN Awards stage for a second time with the cast and crew of his rousing western Gold Diggers, which captured the Grand Reel award—marking the second straight year Digital Playground has produced the year’s best narrative movie.
The French-Canadian auteur thanked his publicist Erika Icon, and his cast and crew, giving a special shootout to his director of photography Matt Holder.
“He work with me on the first movie I made and he always has my back, Matt Holder, I love you, thank you very much to be great,” Greenwood said on stage. “I also want to thank Digital Playground, Ryan, Rachel. You let me do that movie, that movie was not easy. It was very cold girls, right? They had sex in the middle of the night. We shot this western in November and we had some night scene and it was not easy.
“And we had a windstorm at some point that we had to shut down the movie.”
Earlier in the ceremony Greenwood won Outstanding Directing - Individual Work for Gold Diggers, expressing a special admiration for the work of retired Hall of Fame director Axel Braun, who presented the award to him along with Destiny Mira and Jewelz Blu.
In the backstage winners circle, several cast and crew members embraced as Adria Rae, Kimmy Granger, Vicki Chase, Karla Lane, Gal Ritchie, Scott Nails, Seth Gamble, Ricky Johnson, Alex Jones, Nathan Bronson and Manny Bucks joined the celebration.
“Honestly, it’s the most fun I’ve ever had. Horses, guns and whores. How do you go wrong?” Nails, who is part of the Hall of Fame Class of 2025, told AVN.
Greenwood said Nails grew a handlebar mustache for his role as outlaw Charles Glanton—and he still has it.
“He cut that mustache for us and he keep it the rest of his life,” Ricky joked. “Adria was amazing in it.”
Gold Diggers, which was shot at a private property in San Bernardino, Calif., entered the show with seven nominations and also earned the Best Threeway Sex Scene award for the encounter with Granger, Rae and Gamble. The trio found out they won while they were backstage celebrating the Grand Reel victory—Rae and Granger screamed upon hearing their names called.
“I just want to thank my mom and my dad for giving me this hot piece of ass because Seth and Adria wouldn’t have wanted to break off a piece of it so badly in that scene,” Granger told AVN.
Rae added, “To win with people I got into the industry with, that’s the coolest part.”
Gamble said, “I was just the luckiest boy in the world. There was one point where I was just pretzeling Kimmy and Adria, we had no space.”
Granger concluded, “It was challenging but we got through it with smiles on our faces. There was a lot of laughter, a lot of reasons to smile.”
Three-time Director of the Year Kayden Kross and the cast of American MILF accepted the Mark Stone Award for Outstanding Comedy for what was the first feature from Vixen Media Group’s MILFY banner.
Written and directed by Kross, the six-part production featured an ensemble cast led by contract stars Maitland Ward and Brandi Love, with Phoenix Marie, Serenity Cox and Christy Canyon with additional performances by Isiah Maxwell, Parker Ambrose, Hollywood Cash and Derek Savage, as well as VMG exclusive contract stars Dan Damage and Jason Luv.
With so many moving parts during the eight-day shoot, Kross lauded the chemistry that developed on the set.
“It was incredible,” Kross said. “What’s great is I had been able to work with everyone and spend time with everyone—and after that I wrote to a sense of humor I got from them. So I really leaned into what I was feeling and Maitland did even more with the lines, I was so happy.”
Kross shot the movie in a documentary style, following the lives of a tight-knit group of friends in LA who are anything but typical housewives behind closed doors.
“It was for one the smoothest movie we ever made and it was the most fun because we were all—there were times where we were just ad-libbing,” Kross continued. “There’s a lot of stuff in there where I just let them go and we used it. And Maitland, she’s a comedic actress, so…”
The perennial Best Actress winner Ward agreed.
“It was a lot of fun,” Maitland said. “It was amazing to get back to my comedy roots and she wrote a brilliant script with the format of it—that was the core of it.”
Kross added, “Everyone showed up, they hit their lines, they hit their characters. Nothing caught on fire—the things that can happen in LA, right?
“And also we were just laughing nonstop and it made our days fly by.”
The Fan-Voted AVN Award for Favorite Independent Female Creator went to Mama Plugs, an 11-year industry veteran from The Midlands, U.K., who now resides in Cornwall.
“I’m gobsmacked, I don’t even know how I won it,” Mama Plugs, who got into adult content creation when she was 18, said backstage. “I think my fans are going to be very happy. I know they came through, I know they voted a lot and it means the world to me. This is my first AVN Award, I’m so stoked.
Mama Plugs found an audience for her authentic, comedic content.
“I don’t collab so it’s all with my husband or solo,” Mama Plugs said. “So it’s all kind of like high amateur, if that makes sense, kind of high-quality amateur. A lot of anal.”
She said her stage name comes from her teen persona.
“When I was a teenager I had massive stretched ears,” she joked. “So back when I was young I was a little emo scene kid, so that was my Tumblr name back in like 2008 and I’ve kept it ever since.
“And now it went from my ears to butt plugs, so I’ve transition it quite well.”
The show got off to a lively start when the 2024 Best New Starlet Chanel Camryn won Best Oral Sex Scene for her “Hot Testicle Tongue Bath” on Jonni Darkko and Milan Ponjevic that appeared in Darkko’s Suck Balls 6 for Evil Angel. Ponjevic, who later won the Fan-Voted Favorite Male Porn Star, even joined Camryn on the stage.
“I want to start by thanking Jonni Darkko for fucking me in this amazing scene with his penis—and his penis,” Camryn said at the microphone, turning to Ponjevic.
The Florida native Camryn—who was wearing a gold “porn princess” dress with a tiara, told AVN backstage that she came to the set that day on a mission.
“I just remember that I was trying to suck as much dick as I possibly could and I wanted to make it as sloppy as I possibly could because that was my first time shooting for Darkko,” Camryn recalled. “And I really wanted him to shoot me again and that scene earned me my anal scene with him! I just shot a DP that just came out recently as well.
“There will be many more scenes between me and him to come because I did a good blowjob, you know.”
Camryn also won Best Supporting Actress for her lovable comic role in Sunny Goldmelons for Wicked Pictures.
Meanwhile, the Serbian heartthrob Ponjevic enjoyed a breakout year of his own in 2024, earning six nominations including Male Performer of the Year.
The 31-year-old from Zrenjanin, Serbia, launched his porn career in 2017 and recently surpassed the 500 sex-scene milestone—he did close to 200 in the past year alone.
“I’ve been dreaming about this,” the tuxedo-clad Ponjevic said backstage, referring to his first award win. “I’ve been waiting my entire life for this. I really care about this and this is officially my first time on stage.”
A former bartender in the hospitality industry, Ponjevic said his scenes for Darkko Productions are always a blast.
“I shoot with Darkko a lot and I always have a great time and Chanel, I’ve worked with her three or four times and every time I work with her she’s such a great performer and it’s always a pleasure working with her,” Milan continued.
His advice for aspiring male talent is simple: “I would advise them not to do it if they don’t really want to do it and make sure with themselves they really want that and they really like it. That’s the first thing. If they start, I advise them to enjoy it as much as they can. Because a lot of guys don’t really enjoy it. And the point is to enjoy… Without pleasure, it’s not the same.”
Angela White found herself in a familiar place on Saturday, climbing the glowing stairs to the AVN Awards stage to accept the Best Star Showcase trophy for Fuck Angela —a passion project that turned into the most personal production of her historic career.
White wanted her six-scene showcase to be a throwback to what is widely regarded as the greatest era of gonzo filmmaking—the early 2000s. So the Australian superstar asked a legendary group of directors —John Stagliano, Jules Jordan, Jonni Darkko, Chris Streams, Mike John and Aiden Riley—to shoot with the Sony VX2000 camera once again so that she could pay homage to the look, style and feel of the sex scenes that influenced her Hall of Fame journey.
Wearing a sparkling black Balenciaga evening gown and matching heels, the winningest performer of all time stepped to the microphone and thanked all the directors from her favorite era of porn “and the performers who brought their A game and fucked me old fashioned.”
She also paid tribute to Robert "Payaso" Mora, the beloved industry figure who worked behind the scenes in various production and security roles for more than two decades who passed away on Aug. 30, 2024 from cancer.
White was particularly close with Mora.
“On a personal note, Robert, this week was not the same without your smile, your energy and your beautiful soul, rest in peace,” Angela said.
Backstage with tears in her eyes, she reflected on the moment.
“I’m really emotional about this one. I didn’t think I’d be so emotional but it really means a lot to me,” White said. “Just the fact that I really looked up to these directors before I got into the industry and I grew up watching their work. They’re the reason I got into porn.
“And then to finally get an opportunity to live in LA and be shot by them was an incredible honor. And then to put together this movie and ask them to direct for me. And for them all to agree, it’s pretty overwhelming.”
Angela continued, “You know I’m also emotional about the fact that Robert isn’t here tonight because I know he would’ve loved this movie. All those directors he had a lot of respect for and obviously working closely with Jules. And not having him here at AVN felt like something was missing.
“Every year, even if I wasn’t signing with Jules, he would always look out for me, ask me if I needed anything, and he would hang out with me. He was always such an incredible person to have on set and off set. So it’s really heartbreaking that he’s not here for this.”
White won seven awards Saturday—including five Fan-Voted honors—bringing her record career total to 76.
AVN 2025 co-host Blake Blossom—who won the 2022 Best New Starlet award—and Octavia Red took home the Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene award for their sizzling hookup in Titwoman vs Titwoman for Elegant Angel.
Red told AVN that it was their first time working together.
“I was just being excited to be there,” Octavia said. “She’s my senior so I looked up to her and it was amazing to get the opportunity to work with her. And I know she has input on who she works with and she was willing to work with me and that says a lot.”
The northern California native Red, a former Starbucks manager who began her porn career just over three years ago, continued, “I think the best part was you can see my real raw reactions.”
Octavia looked like porn royalty in a glittery red and silver dress with gold cuffs.
“I wore a cloud dress last year and I was like you know, I gotta bring the heat this year,” Red added. “I had to somehow outdo myself. And I know glitter is the theme but I gotta make it extra. I gotta make it regal and here I am.”
Speaking of regal, the night felt like a coronation for Clouds, who presented the first award of the night and soon after got called to the stage to accept the Best Anal Sex Scene award with Zac Wild.
“We got a butthole award, we got a butthole award!” Clouds said in the winners circle. “We just fucked for literally so long. Did we cut? No, we didn’t cut.”
Wild said, “When we cut, it was only to drink water for a breather and then get ready to shoot stills. I mean they had to stop us from going too long.
“I walked in the room and she was like an Edison bulb and just lit up right away. I was so ready to see her. She was switched on, totally ready in the sexiest blue outfit.”
“I was so excited to fuck and have Zac fuck me in the ass,” Clouds added. “I don’t think I’d been doing anal too long. I was pretty new to it and he was somebody that I knew could not only perform really well but I could trust to do something with me that I wasn’t very used to, a new sexual experience.
“It was like my fourth anal scene and he just wrecked me, it was amazing.”
After Clouds returned to the winners circle with her Female Performer of the Year trophy, she told AVN that Jules Jordan was just as much a part of her career-best year as her agents.
It was Jordan who decided to give her a star showcase not long after the 2024 AVNs, when Clouds clearly was one of the top draws at the Expo.
“Anna was a force this year,” Jordan said. “After shooting our showcase it was clear she would be the chosen one this year. She gave it all with a take no prisoners attitude.
“It was incredible to watch her transform from an amazing starlet to an iconic super slut. Sky’s the limit for this one, the next question is what’s next!”
Clouds told AVN, “Jules was everything.”
“He truly gave me the platform to literally showcase what I could do,” she said. “He gave me the best performers in the industry and he gave me every single thing that I needed to be able to show who I am.
“Jules is truly one of a kind and I couldn’t be more proud to have him by my side to help me get where I’m at right now.”
Spiegler told AVN Clouds endured a random injury at The White Party on Friday night when someone stepped on her right foot, leaving her with a sizable bruise.
Even though the accident caused her to miss her last Expo signing shift at Jordan’s booth, nothing was going to stop her from going to the AVN Awards Show.
“She took a Tylenol and covered it with makeup, put on her high heels and went,” Spiegler said. “She was determined to go, period.”
He continued, “I think they caught me on camera crying... She really deserves it. I know it sounds trite, but she had all the makings of an award winner—a Performer of the Year—all along. We just needed to focus on getting her on the right projects with the right people at the right time.”
