DENVER—Male performer Oliver Flynn entered a plea of guilty in court on Tuesday for the assault of his ex-partner, fellow performer Maddy May, the latter informed AVN.
May told AVN that Flynn entered a guilty plea about two weeks after he was arrested on Aug. 15 for assaulting her at her home in a suburb of Denver. AVN reported that Flynn was charged with misdemeanor assault with domestic violence enhancements to the charge.
By entering the guilty plea, the office of the Colorado District Attorney for the 23rd Judicial District recommended to the court to allow him 18 months of probation to be supervised through an interstate compact agreement, which, if approved, would allow him to move back to his home state of Michigan.
According to documents acquired by AVN from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, it was the disposition of the court to sentence Flynn on a misdemeanor simple assault charge with the factual basis of domestic violence.
"Enduring all of the abuse I did over the last eight months really took a toll on me," May commented to AVN.
"Calling the cops [on him] and getting an 'I’m guilty' [from him in court] helped me stop living in terror," she continued. "I’m no longer scared. I’m happier. I’m healing. The amount of support I’ve had from friends created the safety I’ve begged him to give me for months. I love everyone who’s supported and been here for me."
May also shared that she got a brand new service dog to help her through her recovery. "His name is Ace, and he will be with me in a month."
Flynn did not respond to AVN's request for comment by post time.
May previously told AVN that she asked the court to mandate that Flynn undergo a mental health evaluation and anger management, be placed on probation, and have a restraining and full no-contact protection order imposed. He was arrested in Parker, Colo., according to his inmate documents seen by AVN at the time.
Flynn and May had been dating since November 2024, but she said that she noticed him starting to become verbally and physically abusive toward her after he moved into her home in February of this year.
During the Aug. 15 incident, Flynn punched through a door and forced it open, slamming it into her side and leaving her with marks on her legs, May said.
