Ofcom Says FTVGirls Failed to Comply With AV Laws

LONDON—Ofcom, the digital regulator for the United Kingdom, provisionally ruled on Monday that the parent company of FTVGirls.com and FTVMilfs.com (FTV) failed to comply with the age verification requirements of the Online Safety Act.

"Ofcom therefore issued a provisional notice of contravention to First Time Videos LLC on 30 March 2026," notes an investigative update posted on Tuesday. As AVN reported, First Time Videos, a popular network of adult membership sites, has been under Ofcom scrutiny since last summer.

Ofcom accuses FTV of not deploying "highly effective age assurance ... to protect children from pornography," noted the agency announcement at the time.

"The notice sets out the facts that Ofcom has relied upon to reach its provisional view, the actions we propose to take, and the rationale for those decisions," the agency said in its Tuesday announcement. "First Time Videos LLC will now have a period of 20 working days to make representations to Ofcom, which will be carefully considered before reaching a final decision."

Meanwhile, Web Prime Inc.—the parent company of sites like www.anysex.com, www.fapality.com, www.mylust.com, www.xcafe.com and www.yourlust.com—"has failed, or is failing, to comply with its duty to respond accurately to an information notice sent under the [Online Safety Act]," per Ofcom.

Investigations into Web Prime were initiated in September 2025 along with many others, as AVN reported

The investigations are ongoing.
