SAN FRANCISCO—The first official art work for political drama Eat the Rich was revealed today. The feature movie is slated for release in the fall, exclusively from NakedSword Originals.
Written and directed by Ben Rush, the title stars Jayden Marcos, Paul Wagner, Derek Kage, Ryan Orion, River North, Johnny Donovan, Miles Fallon and Luca Zae.
In the lead role, “Marcos has learned how to turn access into leverage. Moving easily among influential circles, he quietly extracts millions from high-profile figures, re-distributing their money into LGBTQ+ advocacy and other socially conscious initiatives. What begins as a controlled operation built on discretion and insight could easily start to crack, drawing Jayden deeper into a web of secrecy and risk,” a plot synopsis reads.
“Eat the Rich is about power and the private contradictions that shape public people,” said Falcon|NakedSword president and CEO Tim Valenti when the production wrapped in May. “It’s essentially a Robin Hood-type story that’s both provocative and timely, told with a level of style and restraint that reflects the world we live in now.”
“We weren’t interested in playing it safe,” added Rush, who is also co-chief content officer at Falcon|NakedSword. “Eat the Rich is unapologetically button-pushing, and it asks viewers to sit with the divide between image and truth without giving them an easy way out.”
