SAN FRANCISCO—Falcon | NakedSword on Thursday announced the wrap of production on Eat The Rich, billed as "a sleek neo-noir thriller" set in a world where reputation is currency and exposure costs everything.
Written and directed by multi-award-winning filmmaker, Ben Rush, the film shines a shocking spotlight on the private hypocrisy of the powerful elite and features a star-studded cast that includes Jayden Marcos, Paul Wagner, and Derek Kage. Shot on location in Los Angeles, California, Eat The Rich is set to release this fall, exclusively on NakedSword.com.
Jayden Marcos has learned how to turn access into leverage. Moving easily among influential circles, he quietly extracts millions from high-profile figures, re-distributing their money into LGBTQ+ advocacy and other socially conscious initiatives. What begins as a controlled operation built on discretion and insight could easily start to crack, drawing Jayden deeper into a web of secrecy and risk.
“Eat The Rich is about power and the private contradictions that shape public people,” said Falcon | NakedSword President and CEO, Tim Valenti. “It’s essentially a Robin Hood-type story that’s both provocative and timely, told with a level of style and restraint that reflects the world we live in now.”
“We weren’t interested in playing it safe,” said Ben Rush, screenwriter, director and Falcon | NakedSword’s Co-Chief Content Officer. “Eat The Rich is unapologetically button-pushing, and it asks viewers to sit with the divide between image and truth without giving them an easy way out.”
