Five stylized vignettes, all shot in a photo studio, provide some excellent eye candy, but little sparks in the erotically muted Studio 69. The look and feel is great, with director Laurent Sky mixing color and black and white photography with synth music and tons of tease. But the sex scenes seem labored, as if all the concentration on the set-ups left little energy for the sex.

I think Alektra Blue works very hard bringing Mick Blue to an orgasm in the DVD’s best scene, but her girl/girl with Brynn Tyler, although it looks great, seems mannered and rehearsed, and the yelling when the dildo is inserted appears forced. Kristina Rose and Manuel Ferrara have performed hotter scenes together and Madelyn Marie, a pretty, big-titted fucker, has an OK scene with Marco Banderas. Ditto for the scene with Ryder Skye and Alan Stafford.          

If you like Lauent Sky’s style and videography, or you’re a fan of Alektra Blue, there’s plenty to feast on here. Otherwise, very average erotica.
