This is a typical Penthousestory. Release good, new product, amongst maybe a hundred a month that Pulse distributes, without any marketing, press or even a concept of such, and see what sticks. Oh, and use award-winning directors like Kelly Holland and, in this case, director of two recent AVN Best Video Features Eli Cross, and basically not let anyone know.

While this doesn’t have the scope or budget of one of Cross’ award winners, such as Corruption or Upload, here’s a very solid couples feature, with a cool plot (hell hath no fury like a wife who finds out her cheating husband has been laundering hundreds of millions of dollars), excellent acting and five hot sex scenes.

Roxanne Hall, in an excellent performance, unleashes revenge on husband Marcus London after figuring out his cheating ways. Along the way, Kylie Ireland and Adrianna Nicole (looking sexy and horny) provide sexual support, especially in their bathroom lesbo/dildo sequence. Hall’s first revenge comes when she fucks Mikey Butders, whom she picks up in a bar, wiping the cum off her face with the panties of London’s girlfriend.

Elsewhere, we see Marcus fucking the big-boned but hot brunette Beverly Hills, whose large butt and great tits are on display while London eats her pussy faster than a beaver chewing through wood. It’s actually one of the best sex scenes in Scorned, along with the cuckold finale where a tied-up London watches his wife get fucked in the pussy and ass in a three-way with Kylie Ireland and Nick Manning. And blonde cover girl Jessica Lynn’s scene with Tommy Gunn is worth noting, well shot and with a load of cum on her nice titties.

Ireland is funny in her role as Hall’s friend, and Nicole and London excel in small roles. Roxanne is a revelation, however, and should be up for Best Actress when the 2011 AVN Award nominations are announced. Also, the screenplay is tight, videography crisp and this is a well-conceived surprise amongst the large boxes of DVDs that come through our doors. Lucky for us we saw this, because we couldn’t expect Penthouse to let us know whet they had.
