Perhaps it’s the tease of seeing Joanna Angel and her perfect breasts dancing naked but not fucking, but Punk Rock Pussycat Dolls feels like a minor production for the lovely punk auteur. Note that it’s fine for the pierced/tattoo set, but Joanna brings a special energy to her active sex scenes that we only find in some of the carnal offerings here.

Vignettes that stray from pure sex to gonzo, all against an original punk rock score, some are just fine, like James Deen’s ravaging of Misti Dawn and the Sailor Vega/Alez Gonz scene. Joanna directs with ease and the longish set-ups work within the context of the genre. Production values are good.
