This is the hottest movie Eon McKai has ever made.
The Gen Alt pioneer found a mesmerizing muse in newcomer Andy San Dimas around whom to sculpt On My Dirty Knees, a probing of the exploits ventured by young girls anxious to find their way to some modicum of fame.
San Dimas is a stunner, but also an uncanny embodiment of the movie's central archetype: the small town girl self-styled as Hollywood diva. The lusting to be someone else, somewhere else emanates off her like ghostly waves. And seemingly, she's essentially playing herself here, right down to performing the first of her three sex scenes — an intimate, playful outdoor romp — with real-life boyfriend Vin Vericose.
Her second scene is the most memorable and torrid of the three, though. Pairing Andy with Alex Gonz, it starts off in the common area of a seedy-looking club, and the two move into a bathroom, where they launch into a wild fuck frenzy that leaves them both drenched with sweat and other fluids.
The other star of OMDK, Violet Skye, is nearly as enticing as San Dimas, and her two scenes (boy/girls with Dane Cross and Daniel, respectively) make for grade-A wank fodder, as well.
McKai's neo-realist aesthetic works as well if not better here than in any of his previous efforts. It's an unquestionably authentic glimpse into the world of all those young American girls out there who now view porn as a viable doorway to Something Better.
More importantly, it's a bona fide stroker of the highest order. At last, McKai has truly and outstandingly married the two primary (and primal) focal points of his art.
