Big fun on wheels — sexy, funny, silly, action-packed — is what consumers will find inside this inventively packaged co-production about on- and off-rink rivalries among roller derby girls.
An all-star cast skates up a storm and fucks with equal abandon in eleven sex scenes. The four-plus hours of running time whiz right by.
The simple story line focuses on two teams, The Bitch ‘n Moaners and The Pin-Ups, to whom they keep losing. Their respective star players, Pyra Klastic (Bree Olson) and Florence Fightingale (Sunny Lane), are at each other’s throats, and for more than merely athletic reasons.
After a lot of conniving, cheating, bitching and backbiting, the teams’ climactic match spirals into sex. Four skaters and two referees decide to fuck not fight right there on the rink. The windup has a cute twist.
James Avalon, who also wrote the script, directs all the action with mainstream-level brio. The actual skating scenes are realistic, pulling the viewer right into the action. Olson and Lane carry off the acting honors.
Sex scenes run the gamut from girl/girl to group. Pride of place goes to two boy/girls. Kayden Kross and Erik Everhard have a ferociously hot tryst, with much passionate intensity and orgasms for her. And Lane shows herself sexually insatiable in an aggressive, high-energy bout with Mick Blue.
The two-disc set is loaded with extras, from interviews to music videos, that are every bit as entertaining as the movie. A soundtrack treat is two songs from Texas band The Mother Truckers.
