Gonzo encompasses a wide variety of shooting styles, but the key element is acknowledgment of the camera's presence. Omar generally falls in line, addressing the audience (and videographer) with his patented Cockney loquaciousness, but sometimes he forgets the ground rules.
Case in point: the final scene with Shaz, whom Omar discovers in bed with her boyfriend. Suddenly, the cameraman is able to enter their private bedroom and capture the impromptu fling objectively, as if he wasn't standing right beside them. When the director enters the room to participate in the action, the mode then switches back to the subjective.
"Quit being such a nitpicky elitist," your customers might respond. Okay, bottom line - is the scene any good? Pretty good, actually. Shaz isn't much of a looker, but she clearly enjoys the ensuing d.p. and double facial. Previous scenes feature more of the same as Omar pretends to deliver parcels to "unsuspecting" British tarts. Change your material, mate - and keep the good work up.
