Despite her photo on the packaging, Flirts is only barely about newcomer (and 35th Anniversary Penthouse Pet) Ginger Jolie. She poses and fingers herself quite a bit, but it's mostly in quick cuts from the main action. There's also a highly stylized boy/girl scene between Holly Hollywood, almost unrecognizable in haute couture make-up and high-contrast lighting, and Barrett Blade, but that, too, serves more as a link than a turn-on.
No, the focus of Flirts is Dahlia Grey, a long-time Andrew Blake favorite, who's the star of at least half a dozen scenarios of being tied or untied (mostly by Isabella Camille), spanked, "touched up" with a riding crop, toe-cuffed and otherwise molested in some of the most beautifully filmed and staged pastiches we've seen in a very long time. Blake is the master showman, and though his sets are relatively uncomplicated, his attention to lighting and film stock as well as his models' costuming, hair and makeup is second to none - and it adds greatly to the heat of the scenes.
There's little point in our trying to describe the action - we're pre-nomming the film, director, cinematography and the extended Grey/Camille scene - but we will note that between the main feature and the 75 minutes of equally hot featurettes, fans of Dahlia Grey will be ecstatic.
