Another moody, off-kilter and really good offering from David Stanley, Faraway tells the story of Meghan (Agent Aeon), a punkish but nice girl from Texas who, envious of the fact that all her friends are getting married, buys a one-way ticket to L.A. to be with boyfriend Evan Stone, only to discover that he's a rampant philanderer.
Stanley casts himself as a janitor at Stone's club who offers to let Meghan stay at his place, crafting some wonderful dialog scenes between them. Only the pacing and look of the vid are less wonderful, both somewhat inconsistent.
Pre-noms: Best Screenplay and Best Non-Sex Performances, Aeon and Stanley.
