AVN's review of the original Café Flesh back in the day calls it "the most disturbing and enticing erotic movie ever made." This one? It's pretty damn hot, and director Antonio Passolini makes his videos eye candy; the viewer inevitable finds themselves watching straight through every time.
After a worldwide war that leaves almost all the population unable to have sex without getting mortally ill, there's one place to watch those who can still fuck, and that's on television. F.J. Lincoln is great here as a network exec in a panic because Aria, the last woman able to have sex on earth, has combusted, following her really hospital-themed group scene with Joel Lawrence, Kurt Lockwood and Sergio. He sends Rachel and Rob Rotten back into the past via time travel to kidnap Sunset Thomas off of a porn set so she can perform for the sex-starved masses.
The Rottens end up pretending to be porn performers to get close to Thomas, and the time travel makes them able to fuck without dying. They eagerly do each other here, really enjoying the contact.
Makeup artist Olivia Saint is brought back instead, and she takes to performing for the crowd nicely in a scene that utilizes what seems to be one of porn's new trendy art direction themes, Nazism. (Check out another Editor's Choice in this issue.) Saint is costumed straight outta Ilsa, She Wolf Of The SS, and she interrogates prisoner Matt Bixel. "Vhe have ways of making you talk!" Saint says in a bad German accent, and one of the ways is getting to fuck her asshole. Saint displays some fine diva attitude, staying completely dominant while getting schtupped and keeping her military cap on the whole time.
When Thomas is successfully brought back, it's completely worth the wait. Her All-American group scene where she fucks three studs costumed as Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson and Richard Nixon is completely incendiary. Many a contract girl has been known to take it pretty easy in features where her name is dropped as liberally as it is in this one. And hey, she's a veteran performer, so she's just gonna coast here, right? Wrong, people! Thomas does a double penetration in this energetic scene with the dead presidents before she has to go back to the past.

Ron Kenobi and Passolini, Best Art Direction to Rosie Ortega, Best Director to Passolini and Best Video Feature to the whole she-bang.
