Kaylanni Lei plays Detective Rain in this porn version of Blue Steel, the Jamie Lee Curtis chick-cop movie. Lei fights crime with an iron fist and a golden pussy and always gets her man. Unfortunately, she gets tangled up in a web of lies, corruption and backstabbing as her fellow cops turn to the dark side. It takes Lei to right wrongs and bring down the evildoers.
We meet Lei in an flashback as she is pursuing bad cop Mr. Marcus, her former partner, and watch through interrogation flashbacks as their relationship deteriorates as he gets corrupted by bad guy Darius Luther (Lexington Steele). Who wouldn't be corrupted by the kind of parties Steele throws? When we meet him for the second time, he is boning up on Vanessa Simone and Domino in a tasty threesome. Soon Marcus himself is getting fucked magnificently by Olivia Del Rio in an orgy hosted by a crooked politician.
Not long after busting a drug depot via a cool shoot 'em up scene, Marcus and Lei couple up and do the wild thing, his big meat practically tearing apart her petite frame. She also gets seduced by fellow officer Harley Davis (after Davis bones cop Eric Masterson). So soon she too is in deep with bad guys, screwing her fellow officers and turning a blind eye as Marcus commits felonies.
Is all this a setup? Is she a double agent? Is she falling in love or just falling into trouble? Tune in to find out, and don't miss the bang up ending. … literally!
One of Raven's tightest films (and that's saying something, 'cause this guy ain't no slouch), Blue Rain is a Best Video pre-nom for sure and features nom worthy direction from Raven and editing courtesy of Alan Smithie and I.C. Cole. And to say Mr. Marcus is Best Actor - Video nom worthy for his role is an understatement. The guy oozes Denzel-quality charisma in every scene.
