Great performer that she is, Monique, as evidenced by this tape, still has a lot to learn about the directing end of the business.

For starters, she shouldn't obscure the sounds of sex with soundtrack music (especially the dated, generic porn muzak used here). Jeez, that's just common sense Porno 101. Then, she should abandon the point and shoot camerawork and the sometimes-abrupt editing that give this thing an uninspired, fly-by-night feel.

But beyond those technical issues, something larger - heat, passion, chemistry, something - is missing from the five finished sex scenes. As they say in the record biz, it just ain't in the grooves.

All this adds up to a production, which, despite a world-class all-slut cast, is all but impossible to wank to. Talk about your squandered opportunities. It's pretty hard to produce a tepid - actually make that downright frigid - scene with say, the usually scalding Jessica Darling in the opener (with Mr. Marcus), but Monique does just that here. The Bella Marie Wolf/Justin Slayer, Monique/Michelle Lay and Julie Night/Mark Anthony scenes aren't much better. If we had to pick the "hottest" scene in this weak field, we suppose it would be the Rio Mariah/Denis Marti/Ekzavir Wray encounter strictly because of some sparks that Mariah manages to radiate.

The disc meanwhile (at least the review copy sent to AVN), has a whopper of a technical problem, namely the sound dropping out to dead silence in spots on some DVD players; on other players, the volume has to be cranked way up to hear it. It seems indicative of this in general hapless production.
