The more things change, the more they stay the same. I's been many moons since this reviewer has seen an Ed Powers video. Amazing how many times this guy has reinvented himself, is't it?

Powers has seemingly come full circle. There was the loner-in-own-bedroom phase. Then the buddy phase: first Randy West, then Jake Steed. There was the"I do't know how to operate a camer" phase, the"So I guess 'll hire some videographers to do it for m" phase. There was the"Why not try the bigger budget shot-on-film" phase, and now... the"I know how to operate a camera but 'm better off as a loner back in my bedroo" phase.

The best way to make a distinction between loner phase A and loner phase B is that Powers now wears a condom. I's the subtle things in life that make all the difference. In Vol. 237, the best footage by far is a lesbian threesome with Kimber, Ann and Deacon. Unlike the bullshit dyke-o-ramas one finds in 99% of the average domestic fare, these blue cowgirls not only dig eating clam pie but also just plain maki' out. Powers captures all this tongue thrashi' action as if it were prom night at the Rubber Rose Ranch.

Vol. 238 proves that if nothing else, Powers is brave enough to bare for the world to witness the utterly disgusted looks of some of the girls he pays to bone. One can practically imagine them fantasizing about Fabio, The Rock, or whomever Anna Nicole Smith had to conjure up while bedding her own shriveled cash cow. However, if viewers can get past scenes like this, a Russ Meyers-esque reward awaits them in the form of Melody. With a pair of ample, perfectly proportioned jugs such as hers, Melody is the ideal candidate for a long top-sided ride. Now that he knows what to do with a camera, Ed provides some of the most tantalizing POV shots in his career.
