“What the fuck is going on in my life?” wonders Andora, a woman trapped in an alternate universe, and the viewer may well ask the same thing about this intensely erotic mindfuck of a movie.
Andora’s the victim of “an inter-dimensional plumbing problem” that makes her constantly crave sex, thanks to a barmy “memory implant” scientist, played with unctuous relish by William Margold.
The story goes in circles. But writer-director-producer James Avalon works with a light, sure hand. Nothing is glum or pretentious. The movie is fleet, witty, original, absorbing.
As Andora, Penny Flame handles her lightning character shifts with consummate ease, and sexually she’s liquid dynamite. Randy Spears and Herschel Savage, as husband and lover respectively, do their usual excellent work.
The mostly multiple-partner sex was expertly staged by Vince Vouyer in RLD gonzo style, awash in cum-swaps, though the hard edge is somewhat diffused by the softer look of 16mm film.
Special props to Alicia Alighatti and Hillary Scott, who give their all, orally and anally, in three scenes (and Scott returns for a fourth).
What’s real, what’s fantasy? Don’t worry, just dig it.
Retailing: One of the best hardcore films in years.
