Fred Lincoln's Bride on the Run plays like a slapdash, one-day wonder, and Bob Chinn's Magnum Love (ascript originally written for John Holmes) seems slow and drawn-out. Credited on the DVD as the "Final Director's Cut," perhaps the VMS release was less indulgent.
Of the two, BOTR has a far superior transfer. By comparison, ML has minor pixelation throughout, verging into Danger Will Robinson territory during darker sequences. Both discs were mastered in Dolby digital stereo, but ML sounds as muddy as it looks.
Each disc has identical extras consisting of a live-play photo gallery, cast bios that include chapter buttons for the featured stars, and a passel of chapter stops.
