Not every vid from the Dark Bros was earth-shattering. Some were outstanding, some were more filler than meat, but they all sold well. Black Throat was of the non-shattering, well-selling variety, and this DVD's poised to repeat that trend.
Certainly VCA should be commended for the job they've done in bringing it to DVD. Considering the quality of the average mid-'80s video, it's nothing short of amazing how good this feature looks on disc. The transfer itself is flawless, with deep blacks and not a hint of moire. Two-channel Dolby digital renders the audio as well as anyone could hope for, allowing viewers to catch Jack Baker's endless patter more clearly than ever.
Some live-play stills and interactive cast bios that act as chapter stops round out the disc.
