With Chasing Stacy, VCA has created something truly original. This disc combines what is essentially a video following Stacy Valentine through her day (a woman in the AVN office affectionately calls this Stalking Stacy) with an interactive software toy created through seamless branching. As you "chase" Stacy, you will be given several opportunities to ask her out. Depending on which moment you choose, you'll either get lucky, get a tacit "no way," or get the complete brush-off.

Once you do get your chance, you actually go on the virtual date, during which Stacy tells you about herself before jumping into the sack (of course, the less patient users can stampede for the pink with no trouble). The main event is presented in first-person, and offers a variety of settings, music (bless you, VCA, for "none" being an option), positions, and intensity.

Naturally, the disc looks and sounds fantastic, which we expect from VCA. In fact, if there's any complaint at all about Chasing Stacy, it's that the chroma-keyed backgrounds could have usedabit of work, as the edge of the screen can been seen in the left of the picture. Still, that's a tiny quibble about what is a really excellent disc that's sure to give hours of enjoyment to virtual sex fans everywhere. Pre-nom for Best Interactive DVD.
