It's a title that will fool you. But under the guise of feature film, Blue Interview, show directly on video, proves to be another pure sex featurette tape. It's a very raw sex tape though – as blue as the title suggests. A few words of dialogue lead into some very hot individual sexual encounters, one after another.

K.C. Valentine has become a commanding lead actress, very sure of herself in front of the camera. And she's the star of this vehicle, playing talent scout in the old story of "A Day in the Life of the Porno Casting Couch." She and her boss Steve Douglas simply try out all of the applicants for a new porno picture that they're shooting.

Blue Interview is recommended mostly for connoisseurs of the shot-on-video style. There's some good sex, especially two scenes with Valentine: she licks Douglas' residue off of the office desk in one and participates in a lustful lesbian interlude in another. However, the sound quality, with a constant buzzing where there's no music, becomes annoyingly muddy at times (the dialogue means nothing, anyway).

Also noteworthy is the appearance of Chrissy Beauchamp, that very young-looking dollface that we spoke of in our review of Satisfactions (AVN No. 4). Her sex scene with Steve Douglas on his desk chair is one of the better ones on this cassette.

The overall quality is about average for these kinds of productions; some state-of-the-art equipment would improve matters here. But the performers, a very good looking bunch, seem to be having fun and there's genuine enthusiasm evident. Blue Interview gives its viewers plenty of action, and that's what you're looking for. I recommend a peek at this VCR release.
