Finally, after months of unfulfilled promises, the sequel to the ever-popular “tease” classic is here.  And, once again, four spectacular beauties with enough hot-tempered sensuality to cause a meltdown, are on view.  But so are kooky characters, country-rock music, and full-blown auto antics and crashes.  What all these ingredients add up to is an uneven mixture that tries too hard for too long and, ultimately, comes up with too little.

The original Bad Girls was such a hot number because of the innocent teasing quality displayed by the amazing centerfold female leads, played by Pia Snow, Jasmine Du Bay (Anna Ventura), Lenora Bruce and Victoria Knoll. In Bad Girls II, director Frazer shows that he obviously knows what made the original click, so he goes for the same thing – over and over and over.

There’s little subtlety and even less innocence to his approach this time, as the girls continually rub their lace panties, strike “sexy” poses for the camera, lick their chops and shine numerous moons.  You’ve heard of “reach out and touch someone.”  The motto to Bad Girls II appears to be “reach out and grab someone.”

Of course, any film with starry-eyed frizzy-haired vixen Blair Castle (a blonde here), statuesque golden-haired goddess Suzanna Britton, ravishing redhead Jacqueline Lorians and promiscuously petite Pia Snow, can’t be all bad.

The problem is Bad Girls II keeps yelling at us, saying it’s bigger and better than Bad Girls I.  It isn’t.  And that’s too bad.
