During Anthony Spinelli's unique experiment, Reel People, sexually liberated people who have never appeared in a film before discuss their sexuality openly with director Spinelli. If the "energy" is there, they perform a sexual encounter either with an established porn "star" or another one of the "reel people."
Starting with a good-looking housewife named Marci and Richard Pacheco, the scenes range from extremely erotic to tepid at best. The highlight involves a 23-year-old man who fantasizes about young girls and gets his hands on two very cute, nubile youngsters.
The conversations with the "reel people" are somewhat interesting, and one redhead even refuses to have sex with John Leslie. All in all, Reel People proves to be an interesting idea that deserves more exploration.
