When people as me how I got into the dirty movie business, I tell them the stories of how I borrowed my dad’s 8mm camera and stag films from on top of his bedroom closet while he was at work and I was cutting school.  Those early loops really wet my palate for the future. Dirty Blonde, although it has a typical 80’s-style story, has a typical 60’s-style feel and it’s great to get back to basics.

This film, loaded with raw uninhibited sex, has a grainy feel and some really hot scenes. It’s raunchy and non-artistic.  There are at least three lesbian scenes – the best involving Sharon Mitchell and a redhead in a kitchen.  Also wroth noting is Joey Silvera and Danielle on a couch and a scene where Mitchell, Carol Cross, Honey Wilder and Rene Summers work on one lucky guy at the same time.

Did I hear somebody ask about the story?  Not that it matters much, but everybody is looking for Mel Fernandez.  And why not?  Women literally go crazy thinking about his orgasmic talents and he has disappointed.  So private detective Honey Wilder and girl friend Carol Cross (a fairly attractive short-haired blonde newcomer) embark on a search for him, or his remains.

Nonetheless, the plot serves as gravy to a plateful of swarmy no-frills sex.  Dirty Blonde should help lunch go down easier.
