Although Erotica Jones owes its title to the Spielberg epic, the plot is straight out of Romancing The Stone. Trouble is, our heroine doesn't wind up slogging it through the swamps of South America... or even the outback of Southern California. In fact, she barely leaves her living room, where she spends much of her time writing erotic novels under her pen-name, "Erotica Jones". Her husband (Harry Reems) loves the books... perhaps a bit too much; he'd rather read than have sex with her.
So poor Erotica is left to her fantasies... or are they fantasies? The same guy (Paul Thomas) seems to show up in almost all of them. We first meet him as a "blind" beggar on whom Erotica takes pity... and takes him to bed. Later, as Erotica is telling her girlfriend about it, he shows up again, but this time, his "blindness" is cured by their torrid lovemaking. Then, Erotica and a girlfriend are visited by a door-to-door saleslady; all the sexual aids you could want, delivered to your doorstep!
Christy Canyon in her usual busty, lusty self. Her performance is outstanding... its the lack of watchable companionship that brings down the rating on this one. But Canyon fans won't want to miss it.
