In Tokyo, an underground society is trying to awaken an evil God, but to do this, they need to capture four holy maidens, or "micos.” Hiroto is a government agent assigned to protect these micos from the leader of the scheming syndicate, Mr. Okubo.
One of the micos, Hinomico, is kidnapped into a demon realm and tentacle tortured into revealing her name; once the demons have her name, she is stuck in their world. If that isn’t enough, she is also violated by a she-male demon.
At one point in the story, Hiroto says: "Words can not explain this.” The same can be said for this reviewer trying to describe the relationship between the demons, the micos, the magic mirror and the realm inside Hirotos memories. It’s a fun, visual ride, even if it is confusing at times.
Tokyo Requiem 2 has a good balance of sex and story, and it’s refreshing to know that tentacle anime isn’t totally dead. The animation and character design are only decent, but overall it’s a title definitely worth checking out.
Retailing: Sell to sci-fi anime nerds and tentacle fiends.
