This final segment in the fourth-part Taboo American Style series is a fitting climax to the incestuous dealings of power-hungry Nina Sutherland (Raven). A girl who "gets what I want, when I want it," Nina grabs more than she bargained for and must now live with it the rest of her life.

I don't want to say more because it will ruin the ending. Suffice to say the climax is much stronger than other contemporary adult films, and is as thought-provoking as it is sexually stimulating.

As for the sex, each scene is a meaningful part of the story. The exciting world of Hollywood provides the backdrop for all the encounters, and each segment is as sexy as it is significant.

All of the outstanding production values evident throughout the series are here. Director Henri Pachard does an excellent job of maintaining character development over the four parts, and his use of camera angles (particularly in the scenes with Gloria Leonard and Tom Byron) really makes a point.

But now that the initial series is over, and one of the main characters has dies (I'm not saying who), it will be interesting to see what happens to Nina. That's right, according to an announcement on TAS IV there will be more Taboo American Style. And if the strong storyline, excellent production qualities and stimulating sex can be maintained, then this should be a worthwhile series to follow.
