Poolside, at the home of an apparent fashion designer, rich couple Nina Hartley and Billy Dee choose sexual partners the way people would pick new clothing at a fashion show. Taija Rae employs these pretty women and studs to satisfy herself and her clients.
The story of Fashion Passion is confused and poorly played. The expository scenes are filmed with a stagnant camera and the actors constantly blow their lines. But when everyone undresses, something great happens. Director Jonathan Burroughs uses all kinds of creative shooting to make this dumb story work as a fairly hot sex tape.
The highlights include Taija Rae and Sheri St. Clair getting it on together and with Billy Dee (it's outdoors and there just happens to be a mattress on the lawn) and sexually stunning Nina Hartley and well-proportioned Francois Papillon, after Francois does a strip tease. These scenes are extremely erotic, while a couple of others (especially a less-than-passionate encounter between Purple Passion and Tamara Longley) don't work very well.
Burroughs knows how to direct a sex scene and this tape is recommended for the few winning segments. If you want a story that makes sense, however, you'll have to look elsewhere.
