The production values of these Hot Shorts raises them above the average 30-minute tape on the market. The intro titles are consistent through the series and give the tape a feeling of quality right from the start. The transitions between vignettes are as smooth as can be expected, given the disjointed nature of the material, with fadeouts working much better than abrupt cuts.

The sex is non-stop, but not overly exciting. The Rene Summers and Sue Nero tapes, however, are more sexually arousing, particularly the Nero/John Leslie wedding scene. Nero's huge attributes seem to get bigger as the tape goes on, and there's something about newlyweds taking part in an orgy on their wedding night that is titillating. Summers is energetic in her clips, and even takes part in a double penetration scene. There is also some (rather dull) anal action in the Jodi Swafford tape (she's cute!), as well as the Nero tape. Nero also indulges in some interracial sex to start her tape rolling.

But I would have liked these tapes a lot more if the featured stars were the only women in the scenes. If Cara Let's the focus of the tape, then take out the other white-laced blondes whose good looks and, in one case, bigger chest distracts the viewer from Cara. Let the stars carry these star vehicles.
