For lack of a better word, "Comic" Joey Star, who headlines an act called "The Color Black" is offered mucho bucks by two horny blondes to appear nude on the front cover of Fan Magazine. Star is a man of few words, two of which are, "Hey, Baby and the other being "Y-e-a-h" (you have to draw it out for full dramatic impact). Joey's girlfriend Wilma is fooling around (not surprising given Joey's intelligence quotient and penchant for small talk). Joey nixes the magazine deal to take a job as a weatherman in Anchorage, Alaska. I would have suggested Chernobyl.
Am I insinuating this is a mindless piece of tripe? Absolutely not. There are positive sides to this. I would like to commend writer/director Leroy Le'Roy as a visionary for his ability to convert waste into a movie script. And what dialogue we have here is mercifully shut out by an incessant background noise that sounds like the mating of marimba with an oversexed synthesizer.
The sex is prolific, mainly because there's nothing else to do. Even here what little discretionary taste the director could have exercised lapses into tastleless monumental close ups of clenched teeth, and genitalia shots that look like slides stolen from a lecture at a clinic.
Sahara and Mauvais DeNoire are as sexy as nature and law will allow, but somehow it seems the male actors are all on their own personal little ego trips.
