Gothic style writers like H.P. Lovecraft and Edward Bulwer-Lytton would probably turn over in their graves to see one of their plots juiced up with late 20th century sex, but Tracey Adams has it over macabre any day.

Adams comes a-calling when friends Steve Drake and Nina Hartley buy their rustic-style "dream" house sequestered deep in the woods. Only in this house, people have dreams. Strange, sexual dreams and premonitions that turn very real.

Atmosphere wins over a plot in this one. Nice, romantic hues embellish the sex scenes which are tastefully photographed and briskly paced and it's probably one of the better examples of sexual photography you're likely to see in a shot-on-video feature. The Drake-Hartley matchups are vivid and exciting. Whether dream or reality, it's hard to distinguish because the storyline really gets muddled on this point. Adams, as the weekend guest, certainly gets her money's worth of excitement. The woman can't seem to walk anywhere in the house without getting her bones jumped by some figment of her imagination.

Maybe the real point here is to check your real estate listings more closely. That dream house might just have Tracey tucked away in a linen closet.
