George and Brandy (Randy Harris & Charlene Cody) need to talk because they haven't been quite hitting it off in bed. Actually its George that's got to do some serious talking with Nick (Michael Mann) because, evidently, that's who he has the real hots for. George, by the way, does a great impersonation of Judge Reinhold (Beverly Hills Cop). He looks like him. He sounds like him.
Turns out everybody's got a problem. Carolyn (Brittany Morgan), Nick's wife, wouldn't mind eating out with Brandy, and we're not talking restaurants. And Dominique (Scarlet Fever) keeps yapping about how "passive" her man Jerry is. Actually, it's Dominique who's got to get the plastic laundry bag off her head, because when she spouts off, that's what she sounds like.
A video which makes some shots at atmosphere and background garnishments, Close Friends focuses on that area of passive resistance in the bedroom which usually means one or both partners have their eye on another potential bedmate. The lingering looks are played to fruition as George and Nick explore the mysteries of the arrow of manhood while Brandy and Carolyn find the eaterythey've been seeking.
With some nice soft focus romantic touches, Close Friends, though bi-sexual in slant, should probably appeal to mainstream tastes.
