Reviews

The first volume of the Brothers Grime X-Rated Cartoons set the market in motion for the current crop of carnal comics. And where Volume One left off, Volume Two picks up and takes off running. Excellent animation highlights both stories here (Star Trap and Offenders Of The Universe), and combined with enough one-liners and a smattering of both human/human and alien/human sex gives us an :" entertaining adult alternative to the everyday shot-on-video sludge.

Princess Layme and Princess Orgasma once again boldly go where few (men, women or otherwise) have gone before, in search of adventure and "fun." The fun here comes in the form of lesbian, hetero, alien and vegetable sex (there's a scene with a pickle), all of which are drawn with the most careful attention to detail (fluids don't just glisten... they glow!). A lot of repeat footage is used, but hey, it's only a cartoon. No harmis done. And while Star Trap features lots of interhuman relations (except for the pickle), Offenders Of The Universe deals more with an alien's rape and pillage of a world's virgins. Only Princess Layme and Princess Orgasma can save the day, which they do in true Saturday morning fashion.

X-Rated Cartoons Volume Two, while possibly falling under the wrath of die-hard raincoaters, isn't a bad alternative or initiating piece for today's adult viewer.
