Any time the adult industry takes a look at itself from "within," somewhere along the line follows the maxim that the finger of hypocrisy must be pointed at the world at large.
In this instance Crystal Breezeis a "porn actress" who wants out of the business "to turn over" her life. The decision is rendered when Breeze's sister (Tiffany Storm) discovers that big sis takes the high hard one for a living. After ranting, raving and much gnashing of teeth about Crystal's morality, sister Tiffany is not at all adverse to bending over the pool table to take a couple of Ron Jeremy's cue strokes.
So is the prospect of seeking employment in legitimate business any less concessionary for Crystal? Not if you work for Steve Drake's company which he describes to VP Dan T. Mann as analogous to partaking of the splendors of Buffy Davis' backside. "Get rich and you'll have more girls bending over your desk than you'll know what to do with," advises Drake, as he bop she bops the Buffer.
Writer Hugh Jorgan's style and wit rescues elements here that would have otherwise been a one-way ticket to a heavy handed sexvid. Okay, let's take the premise that everyone's a jerk and let's have some fun with it, is what this production seems to be saying.
Whether Crystal Blue is persuasion enough to see it, depends on your attitude to such things.
