Jerome Tanner may not have directed The Bride, but as producer his presence is apparent: another well-lit video with clear sound, great music, hot bodies, and no-holes-barred action. And unlike another "Bride" you may have heard of, this one's no monster, but the lovely Rachel Ryan.
It seems she's about to tie the knot with Navy man Randy (Peter North), but not before their best friends, played by Jeanna Fine and Herschel Savage, treat them to pre-wedding bachelor/bachelorette parties. You can imagine how most of this goes, but actually The Bride moves along at a nice pace, due mainly to the excellent sex scenes and the elimination of much of the usual drivel in-between. The wedding practice, for instance, is treated like a rock video with effects and hi-tech soundtrack, replacing what would have been, I suspect, a lot of bad acting.
This is only my second Jeanna Fine feature, but I'll admit that her tight body and erotic persona are already firmly etched into my libido. And if you think she's faking in her scene with Herschel Savage then you're giving her too much credit as an actress! Another highlight is a wild three-way with Savage, Rene Summers, and Tiffany Storm that should raise a few eyebrows.
My only complaint is the wedding night scene with North and Ryan. A slow romantic tryst, perfect for a couples film, it just didn't fit the bang away style of this video. But overall, this one's a hit.
