The wonderfully promoted Bratgirl delivers as a somewhat erotic, funny, high-budget sexvid that absolutely defines healthy, fun adult viewing. The evil Feline (Hyapatia Lee) sabotages the fashion industry, forcing everyone to wear polyester so she can buy up all the designer wear. But it's Bratgirl (Julianne James) to the rescue, to save the world and kidnapped husband Mort) Tom Byron) who has his hair dipped in hot polyester in a funny bit.
Sexually, the lesbian scenes sizzle, as both Hyapatia and Barbara Dare (looking, yet again, better than ever) takes turns with James in luscious sequences. The straight scenes waver, as two orgy-type scenes distract from the overall eroticism. The sets are great (this has the look of a high-budget video), the videography sparkling and the script fairly tight. Julianne's acting has improved, though the editing during the opening establishing scenes is a bit messy. Special kudos to Tantala for a funny supporting character as the matriarch fashion designer. (Hey, P.T., that Brat theme song has to go!).
Overall, Bratgirl scores on many levels, as a bright, goofy, sexy farce that store owners must stock.
