Daddy-o, did this swingin' skin tape send me into Hitsville! It's like the most! It's... excuse me, it's a little difficult to get that beatnik lingo out of your head after listening to it for nearly two hours. It will also be difficult to get Cheeks 2: The Bitter End out of your head, an exceptional tale of bohemian lust and early '60s sexpionage that does for adult video what Howl did for epic poetry.
In late 1962, government agents Britt Morgan and Peter North are charged with infiltrating an artists' coffeehouse in an attempt to prove that the beatniks are actually Communist dupes (don't laugh, it probably happened in real life!). Well, whether it was the espresso, the clothes, or (more than likely) the uninhibited sexuality of beret-wearers like Rachels Ashley and Ryan and Tom Byron. Our detective duo soon switch sides and become a pair of free-lovin' hep cats themselves.
Everything strikes the right note here, from costumes down to vintage TV commercials playing on the FBI chief's TV. the cast seem to have really gotten into this feature, with star/co-director Britt Morgan especially good (say, is this the first instance of a "menage a trois" in adult video taking place in the director's chair, instead of on camera?). Alert viewers can pick up on cameo appearances that range from Jamie Gillis and Gerard Damiano to mondo movie historian Johnny Legend (who no doubt supplied those commercials). Summing it all up, you cool cats and slick chicks who are looking for a new grove to view in you pad had better latch onto Bitter End, like soon. Excellent packaging will keep rentals flowing.
