A young, beautiful, naive woman heads to the City of Angels with dreams of film stardom, but after some sexual encounters with shady characters, returns home a little wiser for the experience. In the words of the inimitable Gorilla Monsoon, "Give me a break!" If that's the best that can be done in the third entry of the Holly series, it's no small wonder the tape doesn't list any creator credits.
Now onto good stuff. The cast here often gives it a good sexual effort, particularly Tamara Lee as would-be actress Holly. Her scenes with airport acquaintance Dave Sanders and boyfriend Scott Irish show her to good advantage. There's nothing really outstanding here, however, and the cameraman's obsession with overly close close-ups tends to detract from the action. No other actress appears in more than one scene, and rarely doe one ever see more than two characters onscreen at the same time. The song may go "Hooray for Hollywood," but there's much more "ho-hum" than "hooray" in Holly Does Hollywood III.
