Taboo VIII, a tale of dirty deals and dirty sex on a riding range, in director Henri Pachard's hands, becomes a scorching and at times downright sentimental entry that's definitely worth stocking.

Author Joey Silvera visits his half-brother on the ranch where he works and Silvera is to watch over nubile niece Sunny McKay while his brother's on a business trip. The expected avuncular coupling never does occur, though (so why was this feature sandwiched into the "Taboo" series, then?). The closest we get is a blackmail plan launched by developer Randy West who covets the ranchland. Cowpoke Mike Horner is supposed to lure McKay into his clutches, but, doggone if he doesn't all for her and foil West's scheme.

Everything in this feature is first-rate, from the epic-sized cast to the typically Pachard attention to detail.  McKay is developing into a fine actress, as her hot sex scenes with "raunch hands" Peter North and Horner bear witness and witnessing. Other good segments include a hot tub threesome and a girl-girl scene with "easy riders" Michelle Monroe and Cassandra Dark. And yes, some stars do their own equestrian riding.

Even though it relinquishes the themes of the early Taboo features, Taboo VIII definitely rates having because of the overall high quality and erotic temperature it maintains.
